Launched in partnership with MetLife Foundation and CESR, the Aqua Resilience Project combats severe water scarcity across Bandwan. It empowers marginalized tribal communities by creating sustainable water infrastructure, climate-smart agricultural systems, and long-term ecological resilience.
Our team constructed dedicated rainwater harvesting ponds and solar-powered water pumping systems across key village clusters. These installations secured reliable access to clean water for drinking and domestic use, significantly easing the daily physical burden on rural women while establishing a consistent baseline water supply for the community.
To promote economic sustainability, we introduced climate-resilient farming practices, drip irrigation kits, and agroforestry techniques to local farmers. This structured agricultural training enabled families to cultivate multiple crop cycles annually, boosting household incomes and protecting local livelihoods against unpredictable weather patterns and prolonged seasonal droughts.
