Partnering with the Asian Development Bank and JUIDCO, SHARE assessed critical vulture habitats in Jhumri Telaiya. This conservation effort identified endangered bird populations, mapped nesting zones, and established eco-friendly safeguards to mitigate threats from rapid industrial development.
Our research team conducted extensive field surveys, habitat mapping, and threat assessments to analyze how upcoming infrastructure projects might impact local avian biodiversity. By documenting key roosting sites and food sources, we developed evidence-based strategies to protect these ecologically vital bird species from habitat destruction and human encroachment.
The project culminated in a detailed conservation framework delivered to urban development authorities. Our recommendations established clear environmental safeguards and buffer zones, ensuring that local municipal growth proceeds in a manner that protects endangered biodiversity and preserves critical natural ecosystems for future generations.
