Supported by GAIL (India) Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, SHARE executed a targeted village development program in Seraikela. The intervention improved living conditions by building core civic infrastructure, sanitation units, and sustainable income-generating opportunities.
Our field operations focused on strengthening core village infrastructure, including public sanitation units and clean water accessibility. By addressing basic civic needs, the project significantly improved community hygiene and daily living conditions, particularly benefiting women and young children across remote tribal areas in the region.
Alongside physical infrastructure, we conducted skill development workshops and economic capacity-building sessions for local youth and farmers. This dual focus on infrastructure and income generation helped rural households build long-term economic resilience and achieve greater self-reliance within their local communities over time.
