In partnership with JIV Dayal, SHARE launched an intensive anti-poverty program across Tonto Block. The initiative tackled acute food insecurity and economic hardship by supplying direct nutritional aid, distributing high-yield agricultural inputs, and training smallholder farmers.
To combat immediate hunger, we provided targeted nutritional support and agricultural inputs to vulnerable tribal households. By distributing high-yield seed varieties and modern organic farming tools, we enabled smallholder farmers to dramatically increase crop production and secure household food supplies during lean seasonal periods.
Additionally, the initiative fostered micro-enterprise development among local women through self-help groups and small business grants. This combined approach of agricultural reinforcement and economic diversification helped families build sustainable income sources, breaking the cycle of rural poverty and seasonal hunger across the block.
