Sponsored by the Ministry of Forests & Environment through Gram Vikas Kendra, SHARE led a 3-year campaign in Potka. It educated rural communities on biodiversity preservation, climate adaptation, tree planting, and sustainable soil management practices.
Through community rallies, street plays, and interactive workshops, we engaged villagers on the importance of forest protection and soil conservation. We organized mass tree plantation drives, introducing indigenous fruit and timber saplings to restore degraded land and support local ecological balance across rural hamlets.
The project also trained local farmers in composting, rainwater conservation, and organic farming techniques. By embedding eco-friendly agricultural practices at the village level, we helped rural households safeguard their soil productivity while actively protecting surrounding natural forest habitats for the future.
